Each year Tiggywinkles will treat approximately 250 swans, many of which will have been rescued by our fantastic team of volunteer rescuers.

The majority of the swans will have swallowed fishing hooks or be tangled in fishing line. They also suffer crash landing injuries, dog bites and occasionally even gun-shot wounds. The rescuers need specialist equipment to capture and contain these majestic creatures.
