Dolly the Muntjac Deer

Dolly the Deer

Scientific Name: Muntiacus reevesi

Weight: 13 kilos

Features: White bands of fur around her front legs that look like wristbands!

Dolly is one of the friendliest deer here at the hospital. She lives in our deer paddocks as a permanent resident; as she has a head trauma which can sometimes cause her to walk in circles.

Dolly can often be seen in her favourite spot by the tortoise house in the Visitor Centre with her best friend Domino the male muntjac.
