Animal Care Training Course
Tiggywinkles is proud to be an approved training
centre for the Apprenticeship
in Animal Care course. If you are between
16 and 18, you can train for a Level 2 Diploma
in Work-based Animal Care and Key Skills at the
World’s
leading wildlife Hospital. This is a full-time
course, but you will need to live locally as
it is not residential. Want to know about the Funding? We

Volunteer Foster Carer
We need volunteer foster carers to look after orphaned baby wild mammals in your own home. Full training and support is given and all equipment provided. For more information, see our Fostering press release.
Applicants must live within half an hour of the hospital.

Volunteer Rescuer
We need volunteer rescuers who are available at all hours (even through the night) who have their own transport and are happy to rescue sick and injured large animals and bring them to Tiggywinkles. These would include animals such as swans, deer, foxes and badgers. Full training and support is given and equipment provided. For more information contact Tiggywinkles on 01844 292292.
