Spud
The Hedgehog

Believe it or not, 'Spud' is a normal hedgehog
except that, obviously, he
is as bald as a coot.
What's his problem? Nobody knows.
'Spud' was found in Ruislip last August. He was
already bald, but was also covered in all sorts
of lesions and flaky skin.
Over the months our vets have tried everything,
including biopsies and other skin tests. Different
skins treatments have proved useless.

He
is still a very normal hedgehog who has a warm
bath every day and a luxury massage with baby oil.
In the wild he would have succumbed to hypothermia or predation. For now he lives
at Tiggys while we have asked the whole world if anybody might have an answer.I
think implants are really not practical.
